Not your father's definition of alcoholism: June 7

Despite numerous reports that moderate drinking has health benefits, the weight of scientific evidence disputes such observational claims.  No modern physician prescribes alcohol for the prevention of any disease or disorder, and when it comes to cancer, "no amount is safe" says the American Journal of Public Health.
