Not your father's definition of alcoholism: June 14

Part of the selfishness of alcoholism is that we are oblivious to consequence.  Even a seemingly logical proposal, like only drinking in secret and never physically endangering a life (other than my own), is a selfish answer to a public health and family crisis.
