It's is a faulty assumption that alcohol is safe because it is legal and found in nearly every grocery store. Alcohol is the #3 cause of preventable illness and death worldwide.  Beyond alcoholism and increased crash risk, it is a primary or secondary cause of more than 60 illnesses.
