Not your father's definition of alcoholism: June 6

If he or she loves me, ______.  That's a guilt-loaded and naive statement that probably pushed more people to drink than it saved.  An impaired person cannot chose between love and alcohol because he or she is physiologically dependent upon alcohol.  Love may be motivation to quit in a moment of lucidity, but addiction is primal.
